Is writer’s block getting the best of you?

Here are 7 tips to get you back in the groove.

Play an instrument~

If you play an instrument, pick it up and just play. Play repetitious scales or random notes over and over again, relax and get into a meditative state.  It’s amazing what pops into your head.

Get Fido~

If you have a dog, or not, go for nice brisk walk or run.  This too gets your creative juices flowing.

Talk~

Just start talking and keep talking about random things. For example, if I think of my child hood, I ‘ll think of an event, what I was doing and who was there.  This may lead to you thinking of what those people are up to now or what they overcame in life.  Maybe it leads you to an amazing recipe you want to share; or the best way to get straight A’s in college, or how to overcome divorce.  Get a voice recorder and record everything for review later.

Just write~

Just put pen to paper and start writing.  Write whatever pops into your head, it doesn’t matter what it is.  Just the act of writing can help stimulate creative ideas.

Write just for fun~ Creative Writing

Think of something you want to write about, something fun that you enjoy.  This will give you a good vibe about writing and may get you back on track.

Write your heading first~

A great way to start is by writing your headline first.  Think of what it is you need to write about and come up with an eye catching headline.  This can, in turn, give you ideas for how to write followed by what to write.

Write out a list~

Take your headline and make a list of the major points you need to address this will take all that is running around in your head and make it not quite so scary to deal with.

Go fishing~

Some times you just have to say what the heck and take a break.  Just walk away and when you come back you will be fresh and full of ideas.  Don’t forget to take your voice recorder just incase you get an amazing idea.

I’m pretty excited to introduce to you Robin Collins, a woman who is near and dear to my heart. Sally and I met her a while back at a seminar being held for network marketers. When I first saw her on video with her husband Lee, and Simon Leung, advertising for the Rock Platinum Show, I thought “wow, these guys look like they are having a blast” and “how I would love to be that woman!” I liked how they presented themselves, the show, and I felt a connection with how they were portraying their lives ~ “living the life of a Rock Star”. This amazing woman is way more than what I expected her to be, and as I get to know her better I am continually impressed with her style, temperament, and total way with which she conducts business.

Now, I can’t talk about Robin’s business without including her husband Lee. Together, they have built a strong and viable business from the comfort of their own home, having done so for over 10 years now. They are very good at what they do. Together they have built a strong and viable presence as leaders in the marketing of information products. As a result of their great success, they have an amazing coaching program with a wide range of coaching options. It is possible for you to have them assess and define your project, giving you the guidance and tools you will need to help you move forward in all aspects of your Internet marketing business.

They also do a crazy amount of joint venture (JV) brokering, locating affiliates/and or JV partners for your particular product launch or re launch. What they bring to the table for someone new to internet marketing is something to consider while building your business plan or model.

I believe Robin to be instrumental in the success of their business, as I know she has been above reproach in any job she puts her hands on. Once this woman sinks her teeth into a project, watch out, it’s gonna soar! I don’t know where she gets her stamina, this woman is like the energizer bunny; staying up late at events making sure everyone has a good time, at the same time working on future JVs, then getting up at the crack of dawn, (or never going to bed) and putting on an amazing next day to her event. She is truly amazing!

What I truly love and respect about this women is even though she is now in the place of power and positioning among the who’s who in the Internet marketing industry, she will still treat you with the respect and courtesy you give her. If you show her that you have the desire and are one proven to take action, there is nothing this woman won’t extend to you.

Robin is an inspiration to me because we have similar backgrounds. We are both Midwestern girls, we were both in the Air Force, have had many of the same experiences and she does what all of us want to do. She is having her cake and eating it too. Her whole business is structured with their family in mind.

Robin and Lee believe that “Money is great, only in a balance of Family and Business can you create true Success.” Now that’s what I’m talkin bout.  Whether you are married, have kids, or single you can’t have true success without the balance between business and home.

I’ll leave you with their 5 main building blocks to their “Family Business Success Triangle”.
You should:

1. Consider whether you help or hurt a situation with your input.
2. Weigh “should I” with as much importance as “can I”.
3. Know that what you are doing contributes to a positive end.
4. Strive to never do anything out of spite.
5. Strive to never do anything out of guilt.

That is probably the first thing you should ask yourself.

It takes a lot of self discipline and requires a fair amount of organizational skills to be able to work for yourself.

Wanting to be your own boss and being ready are two different things.

By finding our BiZiChics.com site you have shown you have one of the biggest attributes and that is a desire to learn.  Initially when you start on the road to being your own boss and running a business on the Internet, you will spend most of your time learning.  They key to this part is to focus on one thing at a time.  There are a lot of programs, sources, and tools out there for you to learn from and it’s easy to try and delve into all of them at the same time.  Pick one and learn it.  If it is search engine optimization (SEO), then focus on that.  If it is pay per click (PPC), then focus all your energy into that one subject.

Don’t get side tracked, no matter how tempted you are by all of the exciting programs out there.

This is an exciting time to be an Internet marketer.
